Post Nephrectomy Problems Posted: 08-13-04 13:02pm
Having had 2 kidney surgeries about 25
years ago for a staghorn calculus, I
recently had laproscopic removal of my
left kidney after it failed. I am now
left with a huge bulge on my left abdomen,
which 2 surgeons have said is permanent
and the only solution is to use a binder.
Post surgical ct shows organs in place
and no ascites or abnormalities.??I also
have a large hemidiaphragmatic hernia with
colon and am getting no clear answer as to
whether surgery for this is indicated. I
don't want to go on surgeon hunting if
there is no solution
