:lol:hey all, I am new to this site and thought I would share what has been going on with me, and see if it has or is happening to anyone else?

So, my last normal period was june 18th. I took a home prego test on july 22, it was negative. Then two weeks later I went to planned parenthood to take another one, he said there one was one line and a faint 2nd line. Then last saturday I went back because I still hadnt started and he said it was negative. But now august 12th I still havnt started? I think I am going to go back and have them do a blood test. Sometimes I think I have some prego symptoms, but then I think well maybe I am fooling my self into thinking I have some symptoms. I just know I have been peeing alot, and some bloating and tender brest.
And this may sound funny but my boyfriends grandmother dreams of fish when ever someone in the family is having a baby, which she did with our first daughter. And well she called last week and said she had a fish dream?
I hope I am because I would love to have another one. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.

2 missed periods is unusual, but if you're not on birth control your periods always have the chance of being irregular. This can be caused by stress (which you have probably been feeling due to worry about pregnancy!) and all sorts of other things. When I worried about being pregnant once it caused me to be late and then when I finally had my period it was very light. I went to the doctors twice for a pregnancy test because I was convinced I must be pregnant! I'm guessing the same sort of things are happening to your body right now, a "phantom pregnancy" perhaps.

Of course, wanting to become pregnant can also produce the same symptoms. You never mentioned what you wanted the results to be? Lol

Ya, I would love to be pregnant again. I just dont want to get my hopes up and not be. And like you said a phantom pregnancy is possible because I want to pregnant and might be making myself think I am. ? Confused

After talking to a few of my friends I am starting to beleive I am having a phatom pregnancy. But I sure hope I am as well. I mean if I am ill be happy and if nto ill be dissapointed./

Update.

Well its the 18th of august and I still havnt started my period, so I took yet another test and it was negative.???I think I want to be pg so badly that I am giving myself the symptoms that I am. I keep having dreams that I am pregnant. I hope I didnt have a miscarriage, or like the doctor said it may possibly be a eptopic pregnancy.
I think maybe it is from stress that I havnt started myperiod. I have an apmt this week to get a blood test. Well I hope I can get this all figured out soon. Im hoping maybe once I get a blood test it will be positive and the hpt couldnt detect the hcg levels? Ggrrrr.
