I was just wondering how soon after
becoming pregnant is it possible to
miscarriage? Could a woman become
pregnant and then have a bleed and lose
the baby without even knowing it?

Yes it is possible.
Many miscarriages used to go undetected
and the woman may have thought she just
had a late / heavy period, but now testing
is so sensitive they have realised how
often this happens.
However usually if this does happen it is
due to a foetal abnormality that it would
not have survived.
