My husband has been out of work since jan.
Of 2004, the reason is of
cough syncope(fainting due to cough) since
then he has seen a specialist
in the following areas with no true
diagnose.
Cardio. With treadmill test, heart
monitor(24hr), veins in throat looked at
and more. They have cleared him with a
clean bill of health.
E.N.T. With testing done on his
esyphogus, ears being cleared
allergist with testing with no signs of
sinus or allergies.
Pulmnerist, (lungs)once again no signs of
damage. He was given a brocholosgpy,no
problem. Breathing test no problem.
Speech path. Again no problem
gasto. Given colonoscopy, and endoscopy
again no problem.
His problem is no matter how hard or soft
the coughs he passes out for
about 40 sec., never remembers all of the
episodes. Loss of energy due
to coughing so much. He passes out about
three to four times a day.
Living in texas the humidity does play a
role. Also I have noticed that
when his enviroment changes(i.E going from
the house to car) he coughs
and passes out.
We are hoping someone out there has heard
of these systoms and can
help direct us. Right know we are at a
lose.
