Ok, exactly a week after I had sex the first time my period started and it was super heavy for the first day...Now it's night time of the second day and there's nothing. Before I had been cramping horribly, felt really bloated and had abdominal pain...I got really worried that I was pregnant because I just felt weird. I know it's possible to still have a period if you're pregnant...Isn't it? It had only been like 23 days since my last period too...I didn't think it was time for another yet. What does this mean????? I am sooo scared!!!

Dear skittles,

yes it is possible to still have your period for the first few months of pregnancy, but it has only been approx. A week since you had sex, so it is probably a little hard to tell just yet, unless you go to your doctor and get a blood test. But a home test won't show yet. There is quite as much possibility that you are not pregnant so please don't panic yet. If your really worried, go see your doctor, there is nothing worse than worrying about it, that's awful.

Take care,

Skittles,

the symptoms you're describing go along with symptoms of losing your virginity. For some women it's very painful, alot of blood for a day or two etc..It's also a hormone release which could account for bloating etc...

Also depending on how large your partner was and how gentle he was it's quite possible you had/have vaginal tears. Do yourself a favor and don't "think yourself pregnant". Go to the doctor/local clinic and get checked out. Even if you're not pregnant atleast you'll get the piece of mind of knowing you're ok.
