Cocois For Dandruff?
Posted: 08-18-04 12:59pm

I was given this one of the numerous products that is supposed to stop dandruf ¬.¬ anyway, its an ointment for my scalp which is a first and its jus making my head even more itchy but it does help with my dandruff... Kinda, see i'm supposed to leave it in my hair for a n hour then wash it out, if I was it out normally without shampoo I seem fine, cept my hair stinks of the oinment and is very unpleasent to touch, it isn't greasy or anything jus *hard to explain* rough?!?

But if I use a shampoo my dandruff is 100 times worse, its smallf lakey stuff instead of large chunks which I suppose is good but I hate it so much, slightest touch or rub of my hair and theres a fist full of white nasty dandruff.

Any comments on cocois or what I should do?

Zinc pyrithinoel shampoos, such as head and shoulders worked for 'so long' before jus aggrivating my scalp, herabal stuff does nothing but make my hair smell nicer. Any ideas or tips on what to do?

Dermatologist? Laser treament sort of thing, surgery??

I really don't know what to tell you. But I know I use head and shoulders. It works for me and if I use something else for a few days it comes back and bothers me. What I do is at the beginning of my shower I wash my hair with a small bit of head and shoulders. Then I rinse it out and rub in some pantene pro v complete therepy conditioner. This gets the nutrients back in my head and hair. I leave the conditioner in my hair while I wash the rest of my body then at the end of my shower, I rinse out the conditioner and rub in a bit more head and shoulders to clean out the conditioner. This has worked for me for years (at least three). I don't know if it will work for you as you have what sounds like a more severe case of dandruff than me. I don't know if I actualy had dandruff or just a dry scalp. Anyways I hope you find something to help you.
