Everyone Rant Here About Their Jobs!

The main thing that angers me off at work,
is that the guys think all I know how to
do is put the dishes away! There will be
newbies, and they will have them back
there washing the dishes but not me.
It's always implied that I am slow and
holding them up when I go as fast as I
can. They ask the person putting away if
they want to switch with me but forget
asking me! 
they let other girls go back there! One
didn't even know what she was doing
because she wasn't a dishwasher but
replaced one that didn't come in. They
had patience with her though and we were
pretty busy that day. Yesterday they
were pissing me off so bad. They kept
yapping away about alien vs predator and I
wanted to get out of there! I was ready
to go home and here they are yap, yap,
yapping time away. I actually went back
there and started to clean them myself!
I was going to clean the cutting boards or
whatever they were and I needed a green
scrub pad and they looked at me like I was
stupid then just ignored it. I had to go
get one myself and go back to the loading
dock to get some comet! They loaded the
wrong dishes in the dish trolly and we had
to work around that the whole time...
And then you have the people who stand in
my way and dont' belong in the kitchen.
If you are not going to help me do my job,
then get out my way so I can... That's
for the people who are in my path for
longer than 10 seconds which is a pretty
long time to be in someone's way. I
don't mean people who are doing their job
and just happen to be in my path. Arggh!

Well I had a fight with my boss a few
months back and ended up walking out so I
cant complain lol im officially a bum for
another week

I think that thing that I hate about my
job, is I feel like everyones health
forum. I do health forum work. Anything
that they dont wanna do they put on me.
They dont want to shred papers, I have to.
They dont want to file stuff, I have to.
They dont want to send merchandise orders,
I have to. They want the warehouse
cleaned and boxes cut, guess who has to do
it. I hate it,but I feel obligated,
because my aunt michelle works there and
that is who got me the job. I guess I
really cant complain though, because it is
money.

That sounds like me and my boyfriend. We
do the work no one else wants to do, but
he has it bad! Remember the rant on
walmart? It really is a sh*thole! They
made him do weedwacking in the garden for
about 3 hours yesterday and then made him
do truckline! Yesterday was the hottest
day and he had to be in a truck! They
never let him go home early but they
always let other people go home. They
treat him like sh*t. I am trying to get
him to work with me, but no positions
available  as
for my job, the dishwashers do the most
labor work and get paid the least. The
less you do the more money you make, it's
proven! It doesn't make any sense!

I know, larry is going to be trying to get
a new job, he is a dishwasher, and he gets
hit all the time by the cooks at work, and
called names and harrassed. It is really
bad, but the money is good, well
sometimes. Now adays it is nothing but
family and friends working there and larry
is the odd ball. I feel bad for him. I
wish he could get out.

No he is harrassed, if someone calls off
they call him and are like if you dont
come in, dont ever come back in and all
this caca.. Its bad..

I'm the only one in the office that isn't
full time. I work 10-2 but everybody else
works 8-5, so everybody thinks when I come
in that its their break. So I end up
working my a$$ off doing the work of 7
people. I'm working more now than when I
was full time!

Well its mostly like answering the phone
and service calls on insurance policies
and doing quotes and writing new policies,
so its not designated work. Its on-demand
work. And my desk is at the front of the
office, so I can't just sit there and hide
from the customers like they do!

Hmm my job... Is boring! Mostly I work
weekend, and no one ever comes in then.
So I sit and read magazines allllll day
long... I know I know, most of you are
probly saying "well I would love to do
that" but really.. How long would that be
entertaining?? Not very!! I would rather
be busy doing something to pass the time
quicker than to sit there and think about
getting out of that place. Oh and another
thing, when theres something wrong with
someones prescription they bring it back
to me and start yelling at me like I was
the one who made the mistake!! That
really makes me mad  I am a very
passive person.. And I absolutely hate
confrontations, so when someone does that,
I just want to back into a corner. Lol.
Oh and when I answer the phone and someone
wants their prescriptions refilled or
whatever and when I ask them for their
name they usually get all mad saying "i've
shopped there for 20 years, you should
damn well know who I am by now!" like..
Grr! Seniors!! Aahh.. So set in their
ways

I work at donatos and i'm a cashier...
Sometimes they have me washing dishes or
makin' pizzas.
I love my job we have so much fun, we're
like a family!
I make $7.25 an hour and I work 40 hrs a
week.
I have been off work for 3 weeks because
my sister is sick and I am taking care of
her until she gets better, i'm lucky to
have an understanding boss. I plan on
going back to work on wednesday.
Thats about it...

I work part time for a big supermarket-the
job is boring because i'm just a checkout
girl but the customers are lovely & so
are my colleagues. I do 12hrs a week
& get £4.92 which is $8.9 but next
month it goes up to £5.18 which is $9.42
because i've been there 6 months.I also
get a discount card so we get 10% off all
our shopping. I can't moan too much
because its the best job a student can get
here. The worst student job here is mc
donalds.

Lol! I worked at mcdonalds for 2.5 years
in high school! I loved it, because the
owner was the father of one of my best
friends, and he hired all of his kid's
friends so it was a big playtime everyday!

Yep, that's my personality.. Has been for
almost 18 yrs!! I worry that I may seem
sometimes like I have a stick up my ass
and I am always angry and seem
unapproachable.. I do tend to go back in
my mind and end up thinking about things
that piss me off and I hope my face
doesn't reflect that
maybe I should have someone make a
disclaimer announcement to not be offended
by me and tell people that if they talk to
me, I won't bite...

I dont mind my job, but I cannot staaand
my boss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is a
psycho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhh, that
felt good..Haha
i work in an insurance office. The work
itself is easy and boring, the up-side is
I get to be online all day....As long as
psycho-boss isnt hanging around my desk.
I also have a part-time job in a bar as an
exotic dancer...Maybe some ppl here would
disapprove or judge me for that, but i'm
in a financial bind at the moment, and it
is the easist, fastest way to get $$. I
make an extra 5-7 hundred a week just from
the 3 nigths I dance....
So right now i'm alil exhausted, workin 64
hours a week....But I know it wont be like
this forever, and anyways all u single
teen moms work 24/7 and u guys are doing
just fine......
