Hi there. I'm in 13. Week of pregnancy and i'm really exited, I can't wait to feel the baby. I'm really afraid of this whole think, is it really so painful?I'm 21 years old and I have a very beautiful marriage, it's my first baby and of course my friends told me horrible storys about how painful it is to give a birth yo a child...Is it? Confused

Its different for everyone. Some women have a tough time with labor, others would do it daily if they could! Exercising regularly during your pregnancy can really help you labor more easily.

My mom always said (during my 1st pregnancy) that if it was that bad people woldn't do it again. So, i'm doing it again and I won't lie...It hurts, but there are so many pain control methods and it's the most rewarding thing you'll ever do! I felt like I had entered a secret society of elite females. I was so primal, I can do anything. I'm really nervous about doing it again, but I guess we can't back out now!

In response to your email,,,,,,,this is my second child, my son is 13 months old and not everyone is the same. My labor was very painless and only lasted for 6 hours, I was 6 cm dialated and not feeling a single contraction, epidurals are also wonderful things,,,,i highly suggest getting one.....

whats the epidural feel like? I always watch birth day, baby story, and special delivery, they never show the epidural part though.
