the Two Week Wait

Well, i'm currently in my second week
after ovulation and it's only my second
month ttc but man do I need to keep my
mind off wondering if i'm pregnant...It's
so easy to obsess, watching every little
thing my body does, wondering if it's a
sign, it's actually better this month
(thank god!)
no question really, just wanted to
share.

period is due this coming sunday so i'll
be testing sunday or monday thanks for all
your wishes, i'll update next week on the
results

Just a quick update, I went to the dr last
thursday because I thought I had a bladder
infection, turns out i'm pregnant!
Needless to say one of my early symptoms
is having to pee alot 
thanks to everyone for being on this
forum, it helped alot to be able to come
here to keep my mind off of questioning
everything my body was doing, trying to
guess if I was pregnant!

I'm 4 weeks and 2 days.
Which leads me to another question. Most
people I know have waited until their
second trimester to announce to friends
and family that they're expecting, but my
husband and I are ready to tell now. Just
wondering what others were doing.

We're going to tell everyone pretty soon
too. I want to pick up the phone and call
everyone I know but i'm seeing my family
this coming sunday, and since this is the
first grandkid for the family i'm going to
bite my tongue, hold in the news and tell
them in person.
Now it's another countdown! 5 days till I tell
my family...Then call up everyone else I
know!

So here's another update.
The results of the blood test were
positive but the levels were low so my dr
wants me to go back today to get another
blood test to make sure the levels are
rising. And i'm a bit freaked out. I
took a hpt this morning, since my period
is now 3 days late and was expecting a
positive but it was negative, totally
negative, not even the faintest hint of a
positive.
So now i'm worried that my levels aren't
rising properly and since i've read up on
a bunch of pregnancy stuff what keeps
running through my head is ectopic
pregnancy since the hcg levels are lower
with them.
All I can really do is get the blood test
today and wait for the results, i've also
got another dr's appt on thursday to go
over the new results and do any additional
blood work.

I had the same thing happen to me. I went
in for a test and it was positve, then
took another one to make sure and it was
negative and I still havnt had my period,
last period was in june. ? Im waiting
for my medical to kick in so I can go to
the doctors and get some answers. Good
