Do u have to have any qualifications to
become an insurance agent or go through
any type of schooling or something?

Yeah you have to get licensed by the
state. In alabama, to qualify to get
licensed, you have to be supported by an
insurance company licensed to write in the
state. Some insurance companies have
stricter guidelines than the states do.
You'll just have to look up your state.
In alabama it was just classes then a
test, and I had to be sponsored by
.G.E.I.C.O. The test is really hard
though. My boss just had to fire a girl
because she failed it 4 times in a row.
Lol what's funny is, a year and a half
before I got the job there, I bought mike
an african fat-tailed gecko for
graduation, because he said it was his
dream as a child to own a reptile that
wouldn't jump out of your hands that you
could actually interact with. Fat-tails
are slow and smart, so it was perfect.
And he named it geico! We still have
her!

In south carolina you have to have a 40
hour class before you can test, then you
test and if you pass and you have a
company to work for, you can get licensed.
In pennsylvania you just have to pass your
test, you don't have to take the class
which is really nice. But, you have more
continuing ed to take this way.
I just know those two because I was
licensed in sc and took p&c and lah
tests in pa.

but none of us here are licensed except
teh 2 bosses....We do everything under
thier names...How ghetto are we!!?
