7 Weeks, And Blood Work. Eck. Posted: 08-24-04 22:55pm
First of all, I would like to say, thanks
for all the kind replies! I appreciate
them! I went to the health dept.
Yesterday for a full work-up. I had my
blood drawn for the first time in my
life.... I didn't handle it too great,
lol, but I made it through. At least I
know what to expect next time! They
also took another urine sample to test my
sugar levels. All my tests came back
good, my iron levels were good, sugar
levels weren't too high, and my hemoglobin
was where it should be. So I can say,
i'm healthy! She also gave me my due
date, which is april 13th, a day later
than I had calculated. Right now i'm
waiting for medicaid to be finalized
before I can pick a doctor, but until it
goes through, the health dept. Does all
my appointments for free. I'm really
glad for that, because I have a car
payment of $221.03 every month (i was in a
wreck and totaled my first vehicle in may,
so I had to get another.), and my job
doesn't pay very much. Anyway, I just
wanted to keep you all updated.

I'm glad you survived the bloodwork...If
you dont get someone who can do it right
it can be miserable! Sounds like you are
doing great! Thats great about the free
appointments...That saves you money! Keep
us updated!
