Why do you think your sister is anorexic? 114 lbs at 5'4" is slim, but it certainly isn't especially skinny, really. And a lot of girl's periods arent completely regular at 16, in fact some women never become regular. If you are anorexic, I think it's more likely that your periods just stop entirely, not that they are irregular anyway.

Anorexic isn't just another word for thin, it is a mental illness where people starve themselves deliberately. So I think before you accuse your sister of that, you need to be careful.

I agree with janet. She sounds thin, but I would not call that anorexic.I would even say she sounds like she's at a normal weight.Has your sister been diagnosed with anorexia or are you jumping the gun here?Does she not eat or only eat limited things?Does she exercise to exhaustion or exercise compulsively? At 16 ,some young ladies do not have regular periods yet.Is your sister perhaps binging and purging? That is different, that's bulimia.Whole different animal. Both illnesses require professional care, but until the person suffering from either illness wants treatment,it is almost impossible to treat.Hope your sister gets help,if she truly needs it.Good luck to her and your family.Patty
