I Feel Like Such a Bad Mom.... Posted: 08-30-04 12:15pm
I was tryin to cut danicas nails and she
started fussin and when I looked down, I
was cuttin her thumb nail but I pinched
the skin and she started crying anf it was
bleedin a lil and she wont stop crying and
I feel so horrible!!! I shoulda known
better and I feel so bad for hurting her.I
had to put those non-scratch mittens on
her hands cuz I didnt know if it was still
bleeding and she hates those so shes
creaming more.. I feel so horrible. I
shoulda known not to cut that close.. My
poor poor girl seems so mad at me...

mom, it was an accident! She won't even
remember it in an hour or so!

bad mom! I know how you feel tho, I
remember once I got my cousins chest when
I was trying to zipper his jacket and I
cried right with him I felt so bad! But
like erin said shell get over it and
motherhood is a learning experience! =)

You're not a bad mother shauna. Danica
will get over it in a while. And as for
the crying well, that is what babies do.
She may have already gotten over it , and
is crying just because. I still do it.
Anyway look at this link. It has info on
how to read what babies are trying to
say.
