Does it help only an aching back or if
there is a real physical problem? I have
two herniated discs, arthritis and
degeneration of bone in lumbar spine,
sacroiliac joints and hips. I cannot sit
without pain for more than 40min.
Looking for answers. I am not interested
in surgery just yet, hoping to find a more
conservative approach.

I have major lower back pain, I am over
weight and told I wouldn't be a good
canidit for surgery. I have been going to
physical therapy 3 times a week for the
past 3 weeks. What other options do I
have???

Hi there. I urge you to visit www.Mattfurey.Com.
It contains the answer to your problems.
Surgery is not the answer. The book
advertised on the site called "combat
conditioning" includes an amazing exercise
called bridging. This involves
supporting you entire weight on only your
forehead and feet, stomach facing up.
Now I realise this may sound extreme but
stay with me. The book also happens to
contain the best exercise system on the
planet. Please I am begging you to act
on this post it will change your life. I
know how horrific back pain can be and
this system cured me and thousands of
others worldwide. Please visit the site.
Let me know of your success!!!

This place that someone keeps telling
people to go is not for everyone. I went
to it and some exercises won't help the
pain in the back. I know for I have been
dealing with this pain in the lower back
since 1997. I am tired of taking pills so
that is why I am having the surgery to
take care of the detereating discs from
the degenerative disease. If someone has
tried these exercises from mattfurey.Com,
please let me know.

there are things far worse than "taking
pills", some are a direct result of
surgery. I'm not willing to give up
walking yet, so i'll keep my pills. When
I can no longer function normally with
pillls, then i'll consider surgery. I
have never felt high or "good" on any
pills, I have been able to feel and
function normally like I did years ago
before the pain came, even if for only a
few hours.
I'm not saying your wrong, just every
person's conditions are different and
pro's and con's must be considered by you
in detail. Why because it's not the
surgeon's back being cut.

Try This Device For Recurring Back Problems... Posted: 01-19-05 16:56pm
...I have chronic back pain from work (ups
driver!) and had neither the time nor the
money to be constantly running to the
doctor or the chiropractor. This is
great for muscle tension and
misalignments. Work your back every
day!

i wonder if just simple strechs and
regular physical activity wouldn't do just
as much. Since I had the disc replacement
surgery about a month ago, I have found
that "icy-hot" and streching has been
almost miraculous for pain reliefe. I am
a 32 year old and I wouldn't hesitate to
go through this surgery again. It is
really helpful and I have become so much
more of a person since this surgery. It
is very invasive but worth the pain and
suffering for the resulting effects!

Helping People With Back Pain Posted: 10-28-05 19:41pm
I have suffered pain for more than 20
years, I had an herniated disc and the
surgery didn't improve my symptoms because
I got an infection in the postoperatory
period.
That is why 4 years later i've got an
spinal stenosis due to a calcification
that was pressing the spinal cord so the
second surgery was necessary. After this
procedure I had some relief but a few
years later it started again as a burning
sensation and numbness in my leg.... The
neurosurgeon and orthopedics didn't help
me so I tried with acupunture and
fisiotherapy, finally and looking myself
in internet I realize that I was suffering
from sympathetic reflex dystropy syndrome
and now I am trying with tens and
gabapentin, and although I am felling
better I still have a lot of symptoms and
I am using and orthesis.
Due to this history I realize that one of
the best thing that I could do is to help
people with chronic pain and in my free
time I have made a site that I invite
everyone to visit it is still in process
but there is a lot of information that you
can find there about pain, mechanisms and
things you can do to improve your pain and
also news about new treatments.
I Have Had Lower Back Pain As Well Posted: 10-29-05 20:32pm
Hi I am new to this forum and after
reading all of your posts I felt compelled
to add my two cents.
I have had lower back pain and sciatica or
years. Doing exercises actually helps.
I used to be a ski patroller but finally
gave it up (too old ha ha ha). Just
can't compete with the teens anymore.
I have to sit a lot on the computer and
after an all day session I found that 5
minutes of doing strech exercises is just
awesome.
Before the ski season arrives (every year)
I actually do a series of exercises by
following a video program I bought years
ago when I had double sided acl (on the
last day of skiing - putting in over 45
days that season). I am not sure that
the series is still available but I find
it awesome. It is called: 8 mins abs, 8
mins stretch, 8 min arms, 8 min legs, 8
min buns (and your buns will be burning).
The telephone number, if anyone is
interested (mind you, I am not sure
whether it still is valid) was 18007217173

good luck and enjoy the excercises (no it
is not a network marketing company - at
least I don't think so, no there is no
affilate marketing or anything else
attached to this info), just in case you
are wondering why I am sharing this.
