Drugs Alcohol And Pregnancy

B4 I knew I was pregnant I drank maybe
every other weekend and smoked a few
cigarettes. I didnt know I was pregnant
for the 1st month so could my baby have
been seriously affected by this?

I don't think it would hun but if your
concern for the your baby's health you may
ask your doctor. I never smoke or drink
so I don't know sorry

I was in the same situation. My hubby and
I drank several bottles of wine over the
course of the 4 weeks prior to our finding
out I was pregnant, but the doc said not
to be worried about it.

I drank allll the time till I was 6 weeeks
before I knew. I quit right away. And
thank god, but my son turned out
beautifully*

nite but that was it. Lol. I think your
baby is fine.

No need to worry! Just dont do it
anymore! I drank like 8 beers one night
and the next day come to find out I was
pregnant!! And I also started to panic
but my lil boy is all good. ~ erica.

I worried about the same things! I got
real drunk a few times b4 I found out, and
I was so worried about it, so I asked my
doc & she said usually it would have
had to be done repetitively for damage to
be done and my lil girl came out fine so
don't worry too much!

I was the same way! I got loaded every
night before I found out I was preggo
(bout 4 weeks) and I was worried bout fas
but shes a very healthy strong baby so as
long as u quit as son as u find out, im
sure ull be okay.

One drink can give the baby fetal alcohol
syndrome. But that isn't an every
occurance thing!
Some people drink throughout their entire
pregnancy and the baby is fine, where some
drink for the first month because they
don't know and have a baby with f.A.S.
If you are concerned just tell your doc.
They can just watch the development
closely. You are most likely fine
though. I don't mean to worry you, just
giving you the facts.
One of my friends didn't know she was
pregnant until almost her fourth month.
We drank every weekend (if not more) and
she smoked regularly. Her son was just
fine. It just depends on so many
different things, but I wouldn't worry.

I drank and smoked b4 I found out I was
pregnant but as soon as I found out, I
quit! And now I have a healthy 2-year-old
daughter! :d

Well all of that is reasurring..
Although, I was never worried about the
alcohol and stuff as much as I have been
about the pain meds and antibiotics I
took...I took a crap load of advil. Eek.
Like 8 a day for the first month...Thats
kinda creepy huh? My mom is always
getting on my butt about the stuff I eat
too...What kinda stuff did y'all avoid
while you were pregnant? Or still are...

I let go of catfish cuz I didnt know too
much is bad... I would eat everyday if I

Dont worry michelle!
I got my tongue pierced before I found out
I was preggo and I took a hell of a lot of
ibuprofen(sp?) and a few tylenol.. That
also scared me but shes fine! I woudlnt
really worry about it too much
