a Weird Subject... Posted: 10-01-03 10:49am
Wasn't sure where to post this...A guy
with larger sized breasts is frowned upon.
My boyfriend, who is not over weight
(6'3"...200-some lbs) is struggling with
this problem. He has gone to the
doctor(s) and they tell him his insurance
won't cover it. It would be considered
plastic/corrective surgery, and as we all
know, surgeries are not cheap.
I guess what I am asking is there anything
I can do or say to comfort him without
just saying..."they are not as big as mine
!!" and "you look
fine". He is sooooooooo subconscious
about it, it almost drives me nuts.
Is there anything he can do to reduce them
besides surgery?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How big are they? I knew a guy who was a
*big* guy and he made his self esteem so
high it was annoying! He was like, im so
hot, look at my breasts they are about as
big as yours nikki! I would laugh at him
so much! But I think the only thing to do
is to excersize and work out the pecs.
Chest excersises. That will really shrink
them, because robert started doing that
and they got smaller and didnt even look
like breasts anymore! I would always say,
robert I cant play with them anymore!
Because I would grab them all the time!
But he needs to do them on a reg. Basis.
And he will make them look hard and nice.
Tell him constantly how good he looks,
whistle at him when hes dressing...You
have to build up his self esteem. Robert
did it on his own and made himself to be
like hes so hot even though hes big. The
inside is what counts! Hope it helps!

Kaireejo,
try to get him to work out a bit to build
up some muscle on his chest. I know that
wont fix the problem, but it may help him
with his esteem and self image, and
slightly reduce the size. As long as you
continue to tell him how much you love
him, and how you find him attractive, that
is important. He needs to hear that from
you...The one person who loves him the
most. There is always an option of
wearing a tight shirt (to strap them down)
beneith his regular clothes...Acting much
like a sports bra we women would wear.
Women think they have it tough all the
time, but not many people stop to think
about what men go through as well. Just
support him (and make sure yours are
always looking bigger than his!!)
good luck. :d

They are not huge like a women's. But
they are as big as if he were heavy. He
usually wears big baulky shirts plus an
over shirt(button shirt) on top of that
yet. It doesn't bother me, except that I
know it bothers him. It doens't matter
what other people think, he's my pride and
joy. My love. But I can't seem to
break through his low self esteem. I
just don't know what to do. I tell him
that he looks great. Cuz he does. I
compliment him, but he doesn't seem to
believe me. He has tried working out
alittle. Mostly when he was in college
and it was free. But he still had that
problem.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Exercise? Posted: 10-10-03 02:08am
I don't believe any form of chest exercise
will do any good to reduce the size of
breasts in men.
The reason some men develop larger breasts
is because of a lower testostosterone
level or higher estrogen levels.
There are certain foods/herbs which
promote estrogen levels (for example saw
palmetto contains certain saponins which
when taken in quantity will enlarge mens
breasts)
i think you need to investigate
herbs/supplements that promote higher
testosterone levels.
For example: damiana, sarsaparilla, dhea
etc. Etc. Do some research on the topic
or consult your doctor about it. No sense
in keeping a low self esteem when the
problem can be corrected.
One other thing you can have him try is
high intensity aerobic workouts.
If he works out (for example jogging) he
will notice a difference because prolonged
exercise will increase testosterone
levels. As you can see, some women who
exercise too much will build muscles and
lose their breasts. The same applies to
men.
Best of luck to you!

Thanks so much guys for your comments. I
appreciate it greatly. It's just so hard
to see him so down on himself when I can't
do anything about it and he doesn't seem
to accept my compliments.
Thanks again.
