I am a 24 year old female. I know it is
normal to bleed the first time after sex,
but I am experienceing abnormal bleeding
after sex. I have gone to the doctor and
have normal pap smears, but no explanation
for the bleeding. I am not sure what to
do nor what will stop the bleeding.
Please help!

Hi volley,
i just had the same problem - I had sex
for the first a few days ago and im still
seeing blood. I was really scared so I
went to the doctor and she said that its
not that uncommon to bleed for awhile
after the first time. She did an
examination on me and found a small tear
and some bruising. She said I could
possibly bleed for another week and not to
worry too much. She also suggested that I
let it heal before I start having sex
again. I would not worry
too much about it unless it happens for a
couple weeks or something. Good luck!
