I'm Very Worried, Should I Be? Posted: 09-01-04 12:33pm
Hello all, I have a question that maybe
someone can help me with. I am 20 years
old and I have a 5 year old son.
My mens. Cycle is usually anywhere from
37-41 days. My last period was on july
13th...It lasted for 3 days. I have not
had a period since then. *on my calender
that is 51 days*...I have taken 3
pregnancy tests and they have all came out
negative. My symptoms consist of:
frequent urination, dizzyness, enlarges
breasts *also my veins show more in my
breasts* and obviously a missed
period...It's been a really long time
since I have been pregnant and I don't
remember much of it.... Am I taking the
pregnancy test too early or does it sound
like I have a problem? Any response to my
question would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, your not taking it to early.
Although hpt's are farely accurate.
There is a chance that it is coming up
negative and you are still pregnant. You
should go to the doctor and get a blood
test done. Those are the most accurate.
From what you've said, I would assume
that you are pregnant. But are you
stressing yourself out over this? You
may be causing yourself to have thse
symptoms by believing its true.

Have you recently changed, stopped, or
started birth control? Or is there a lot
of stress in your life? Both of these
things could also be causing your
symptoms. Let us know what you find out!

I don't think I am stressing myself. I
don't understand why my breasts would be
getting bigger if I was just stressing
myself. I *feel* like I am pregnant, and
my husband and I have been trying so, it
is possible. I figured hpt would show it.
My bra size has went up from a 38c to a
38d. Is that normal during the early
stages of pregnancy?

In my personal oppinion it sounds like you
are be pregnant. But you have to
remember that I am only going from you've
told me. Go to the doctor, they can tell
you for sure.
Sometimes hpt's wont detect it. Every
person is different.
And to answer your question, a lot of
times when people start to believe that
they are pregnant they will actually
experience pregnancy symptoms including
things like enlarged breasts, morning
sickness, stuff like that.

Also remember, if you are wanting to be
pregnant, it is also possible that your
mind is playing tricks on you. Whe a
woman wants to be pregnant badly enough,
they can go through a fauls pregnancy,
have simptoms, and "feel" pregnant, when
really they are not. Go to the Dr. And
take a blood test.
