Hey girls, I was just wondering if there is a color that your implantation bleeding cannot be. Is it supposed to me a certain color? Just wondering, my friend kimberly is ttc, and I didn't know, just thought maybe some of you could help. Thanks Wink

Babytoon, my personal experience of implantation bleeding is that it was exactly the same colour as my period.
I noticed the blood, even told himslef that "tonights off hon" and used tampax. When I went to change a few hours later there was nothing, zilch, nada, not a thing Shocked

Abbyolly
i would say there is a chance that you could be pregnant, however given that it isn't long since you gave birth, I probably wouldn't trust a home pregnancy test and would be more inclined to see your doctor.

Please take contraception seriously, and unless you actively want to try for a baby do not have unprotected sex.
There are other forms of birth control out there if it is impossible for you to remember to take a pill everyday.
I am sorry to say but if you knew you had missed a few pills, why on earth did you have unprotected sex?

If you did want another child it is recommended to give your body chance to recover before getting pregnant again.

Thanks kia_breizzze. I had it too, but mine was dark brown, almost black, and lasted for maybe 5 hours, and then nothing. Just wondered how much is could range. Thanks again. Wink

How long after implantation bleeding can you take a pregnancy test? I had some light spotting like that last weekend and then it was gone so I took a test on monday and it came up negative. Could it have been too early to test? I also didn't know if the bleeding could be because I quit birth control in may and hadn't had a period since. Maybe my body is just out of wack from being on the pill for 12 years???
