I know this post is old, but I just joined, anyway, my husband has been on gabitril for several months now, and he had no problems with it. He didn't mention having any side effects. He has been on tegretol since he was a kid, and never had any seizures after that. He started having small seizures in his sleep about a year ago. They gave him gabitril to take at night, and he hasn't had another seizure in his sleep since. I hope that helped you.

Thanks for your reply....How much gabitril does he take? ..I don't usually have side effects for about a year after taking a med and then things start happening and then I switch to something else....Let me know if he gets a rash or itchy dry skin around the face and ears...........Ss
