Myself And Himself - **bump** Posted: 09-03-04 15:38pm
Lol its a long standing joke.
He didn't want to be a "boyfriend" cuz
he's in his 30's and other things sounded
too "permanent" in the early days, so he
became himself.
I believe it came from a book by marion
keyes.
However, himself is now 34, my long term
partner, and my baby daddy!
He is called steve and is the most
wonderful friend I have ever had the
pleasure of knowing!
most people remember us from the similar
names, I love the look on people faces
when they ask names and we're like steph n
steve, mind you in full the spelling
nearly matches too - stephanie and
stephen
kia is my "public persona" and also my dj
name (who knows when i'll ever have time
for that now though)

I knew a "him and her" .My friends
parents.They never addressed each other
personally,it was always"what does he say
about it?"or "where is she?".They never
seemed to really be on the same page, not
like herself and himself.Your story is
very cute,kia!Patty

Nope, why?
I just bumped this to show I had told
y'all my "real" name.
At home I call him "ste" "honey" "baby"
"bunny" "ignorant sod", my name wasn't
what I would have picked and I hope my kid
likes it's name better.
Have you ever tried telling someone on the
phone (like at work) that your name is
steph??? What a nightmare.
Me: steph speaking
them: beth?
Me: steph
them: staff?
Me: no steph
them: deaf?
Me: no stephanie
them: bethany?
Me: stephanie
them: daphne?
Me: no steph, stephanie, steph
them: I don't know what you are saying
now try another name
me: sarah speaking
them: hi sarah
or
me: claire speaking
them: hi claire
is it any wonder I hate my name

yup, if it is a girl she will be willow
amber and a boy will be oliver reece
it took a while to get there, I had some
names I liked, and himself nodded and said
mmmm a lot, then I found out he wasn't t
listening at all grr
we went to cadbury world and he saw a
stand or photo frames and keyrings with
names on and spent 1/2 hour or more
looking and suggesting. Both of these
were his suggestions - kinda I put them
together out of names he picked, and I
love them, not too common and not too
outrageous.
