Ok, her eye is always closed shut with
crusty stuff and always has eye gunk on
her eyeball. Well I clean it out everyday
and this morning it was all red and icky.
I still cleaned it out.. Well ryans mom
is saying to put neosporin on it?! Like
literally put it in her eye... For some
reason I dont have a good feeling about it
and im not gonna do it. But they keep
takin ryan out of the room to talk about
it and outside to talk, they wont talk
infront of me about it...Well im goin to
the doc on tuesday so I wanna have her
check it out..Is that the better way to go
other than neosporin? Ok ryan just got
back in from outside..He said that his
parents said this: "put your backseat back
in the car put her in the carseat and take
her to the hospital, and that we cant wait
until tuesday because her immune system is
to weak and might spread thru her whole
face." im gonna go f*ckin nuts over
here!!! I cant afford extra trips to the
doctor! We didnt get excepted for
medicaid....*headache* what would yall do?
Wait til tuesday or put neosporin in her
eye? Id feel more safe with the doctor
tellin me whats wrong then listenin to
ryans mom..Shes not a doc..Please help
asap before we get yelled at for not takin
care of her and bein told she relies on us
agian...We feel like bad parents in this
house. And to explain the reliein on us
and bein told we arent taken care of
her...When she was gettin sick really bad
ryan left mackenzie's shirt off so we
didnt go thru 80 million shirts well ryans
mom got pissed and said we werent taken
care of her etc. Thats for that part...So
I dont wanna be told that again..We
already were told that today so if I hear
it again im gonna get pissed and say
something about it. So please help,
thanks yall

Okay, I asked my mom about the neosporin
and she said absolutely not. Its really
not good for them. You can carefully pu
tit under her eye but do not put it in her
eye. It may be dangerous since shes so
little...

It sounds like a clogged tear duct. Josh
had that. Does it look like a ball of
snot in her eye that appears every few
hours? Especially when she wakes up?
Josh had it and all they told me to do was
massage that little knob on the inside
corner of his eye, and stuff will squirt
out and its nasty but it worked. It
cleared up in less than 2 weeks.
Hopefully that is all it is!!! Good luck
and let me know!

Thank you. That is exactly what I was
tellin ryan, its to dangerous. His mom
came down stairs and said "if I was her
parent id take her in but thats just how I
am" she always compairs me with her!!!
Ugh!! Then she tells ryan just directly
to ryan, "im not tryin to hurt your
feelings" becuase she told us we were bein
bad parents..Well I guess im the one bein
a bad parent?!? what..I dont get a sorry
or anything.. I didnt do anything wrong,
what am I bein bad for lettin my baby
sleep? Christ, im not puttin caca in her
eye without a doctor saying its ok. And
im not takin her to the hospital when im
goin there on tuesday...

Just dont let it get to you sweetheart.
Your not being a bad mother at all! Dont
ever let anyone tell you that, your doing
what you think is best and thats all you
can do. Good luck with everything! And
just keep a level head, maybe shes just
jealous or something because she dosent
have one anymore.

Chrissy, yea it shows up when she wakes
up. She just woke up and doesnt have it
right now. And its really hard to get off
of her...Am I doin the right thing by not
takin her in and waiting til tuesday? I
mean im already goin there tuesday for a
check up..But his mom is makin it seem
like its life or death. I feel like im
doin the right thing but I get vibes in
this house that im doin the wrong thing
and that im a bad parent. They said it to
ryan too but said sorry. Im ready to go
back to my moms but I dont wanna leave
ryan I just wish he could stay back at my
moms with me.

P.S. I am looking at a tube of neosporin
as we speak. Tell her to read the
incredibly label. It says, and I quote
"warnings:for external use only. Allergy
alert:do not use if allergic to any of the
ingredients. Don not use *on eyes*large
ares of the body" tell her to learn how to
read since she is so smart.

do not put
it on her eyes hell no! Clogged
tear ducts are normal in babies. It takes
a while for them to "un clog" tell his mom
to back the f*ck off and let you 2 be the
parents!

Lol ur welcome. Just tell her nicely that
u read the label, and it says not to use
it on eyes. And that u will choose to
believe the cdc since they probably know a
little more about this than she does.
Lol. Also, just tell her that u know
someone with a kid who had something that
sounds exactly like what mackenzie has
got. And it isnt serious at all. Just a
bad case of the eyes boogers. I remember
sometimes it would dry and his eye would
be crusted shut. Use a warm washcloth to
get it off. Let me know if it starts to
look like wet boogers, because then I
would probably say she has a clogged duct.
Dont worry about it, u r not a bad mom, u
r a smart one cuz I said. Lol! Love ya
hun and dont worry! U r doinf what your
instincts tell you, and thats the way it
is supposed to be.

I didnt even read the rest of the posts.
I just read the first one. Heather, she
more than likely has pinkeye. D.O.
.N.O.T. P.U.T. Neosporin in her eyes!
That is not made for putting in you eyes,
its made for putting on cuts, and ~not~
big cuts at that. Its for external use
only. Read the directions. Tell his mom
to read the label! Oh my god this makes
me so angry that she is soooo dumb to tell
you to put neosporin in your baby's eye!
How is this going to spread to her whole
face? It will spread to her other eye,
and anyone elses eyes, but not her face.
Just take her to the doctor a.S.A.P and
have them check her out, and then they
will give her antibiotic eyedrops for
it... Lol not neosporin.

Oh.. Another thing... Call nurse direct
from now on instead of consulting ryans
mom about it. What if you would have
actually put neosporin in her eye! No
offense to ryan or you, but this woman
sounds like a complete fool... Ok I just
read the rest of the posts... I got pink
eye without being around anyone with it.
Out of no where I just got it... And
since she is so young yet, ryan could have
touched something at work, and could have
brought it home, and you two just have
stronger immune systems so you didnt get
it (or at least yet). Omg... I still
cannot believe that. I told my mom about
it (lol i've mentioned this before, shes a
nurse) and she freaked! She cannot
believe that somebody would even think
about doing that! I just still cannot
believe that. It really makes me angry.
Oh my god she is stupid. (again im sorry,
no offense, lol but it sounds like you
dont like her too much anyways)

Lol I dont care what ya say bout her.
Shes been pissin me off lately. I didnt
put anything in her eye im not stupid. I
cleaned it out with warm water and its
lookin better. Ryan doesnt work right
now...So he couldnt have brought anything
home. We barely leave the house. We came
home from the dragstrip and she was like
that. I think shes allergic to something
and thats why her eye got like that, cause
ryan and I get like that and we have
allergies...I gotta go feed mackenzie now
so I gotta go.

I go to the doctor tomorrow for my two
week check up and so im gonna have my doc
take a look at mackenzie's eye. Since
last night everytime she wakes up shes got
alot of gunk booger stuff in the corner of
her eye, I clean it out with warm water
but it comes back everytime she wakes up.
So we'll see what it is. Ryan has been
complaining about his eye hurting him and
his eye is all pink etc so im thinkin
mackenzie got it from ryan if its pink
eye. But im still thinkin its
alergies...
