How Late Should Your Period Be?
Posted: 09-04-04 23:05pm

Hey im just curious how long it should be before I begin to worry that my period is not here yet, normally before I started the pill I was every 21 days like clock work, then I started the pill and its been out of wack, my last period ended on the 11th and I believe to started on sixths or around then, so its been 25 days since the end of my last one, when should I worry that it might be late? Also I have only been on the p ill for about four or five months so I know my body hasn't ajusted well yet though I believe it should have by then, and my last period was actually early.

Firefly, best way to watch your cycle is to note the first day each time, and count the days from first day to first day.
Don't count from last day to first day as your period is part of your cycle.
If you have had otherwise unprotected sex you might want to see your doctor to confirm everything is ok. Else I wouldn't worry, it takes some people quite a while to adjust to birth control, or you might want to switch brands.
