I spoke to my boyfriend yesterday and he said that on friday night, he noticed a blood spot on the front of his shirt. When he looked, he saw that the entire inside of his belly button was coated in blood. Now I admit i'd probably be a little scared too if that happened. It's the first time this has ever happened to him. He said it wasn't gushing blood, nor did it bleed after that. There are no cuts, scrapes, etc. In his navel, and when I looked at it for him, there was no blood at all. I wanted to contact a physician and ask them, but I know they'll give me that line of bull that state laws prohibit them from disclosing information over the phone. And he doesn't want to tell his mother because he knows she'll be freaking out. ........ Does anyone know what could have caused this? As I said, this happened out of the clear blue sky. He told me that there wasn't any pain - only blood. ...... Scaredbaka

Probably scratched himself.Lots of blood vessels there,can look worse than it really is.If no further bleeding,probably just a scratch.Patty
