That daniel guy won't leave me alone, and
I want to do more than blcok him. I know
he has a warrant out for his arrest so I
cant get any of his info so I was
wondering if anyone knew how to get an ip
address through an instant message? Any
help would be great. Thanks!

Try this. We are going to write a
program to tell us. First of all, you
have to run the program while talking to
the person.
Open notepad and enter the following:
@echo.
@color 09
@netstat -n
@echo.
@pause
then save the file with the name
"getip.Cmd" and make sure notepad doesn't
add .Txt to the end, because sometimes it
does! Then, next time you are talking to
him, run the file by doubleclicking on it.
It _should_ show you his ip address.

Just make sure your connection with him is
the only one, because it will show you all
connections if you are talking with
somebody else.

Ok erin so do you know how to do a search
on that number? I tried by putting in ip
address search in google and I got a bunch
of characters that made no sense when I
entered it. So can you do that?

Open a folder, any folder. Go to tools
-> folder options -> view. Then
look for "hide file extensions" and make
sure its _not_ checked.
