I checked this forum the first time when I
started bleeding but it looked like no one
came back after to tell their experiences,
so I just wanted to let you all know what
happened to me.
Miscarrriage is a progression. And it
happens to atleast 1 out of 6 women, so if
you are bleeding be cautious, but maybe
you will be one of the lucky women that
will continue to have a healthy baby.
I was 8 weeks pregnant exactly. The
progression from the first day I saw blood
to the day I lost the baby took exactly 6
days. I was experiencing period like
cramps maybe 4 or 5 days before I saw
blood, I just dismissed as being normal
because I thought it could be the forming
of the uterus, baby, placenta type deal,
but I think if you are experiencing pains,
take it easy. Lie in bed and drink lots
of fluids from that day on. Anyway, after
a couple days of slight period like
cramping I saw my first blood. This was
on a monday. After I saw the blood I went
immediately to er, I guess that wasnt
really worth it, I wish I had just called
my doctor and went to see him, but it was
my first pregnancy and I got a little
scared. I guess you only need to worry
really bad, is if your blood type is
negative. Anyway, at the er they did some
routine tests, my cervix was closed and
the baby had a heart beat. I was told to
go home and take plenty of rest and drink
fluids.
Wednesday, 2 days later, I went to see my
obgyn, and he told me I was bleeding more
heavily than regular, meaning I wasnt
spotting and I wasnt having like a period
but you know its like a light period. But
he told me to not worry and 90% of
pregnancys will go on. The baby had a
heart beat, he did a pap smear, cervix was
closed, so I went home.
The next night which was thursday, I
experienced the same amount of cramping at
times getting bad but nothing I couldnt
handle. It was like a bad period cramp,
and I had two clumps of mucus like blood
on my pad. I called my doctor, he said
it was ok. So I went on lying on my couch
and drinking tons of water to make sure I
am hydrated.
Friday, went on as normal with pains
raning from light to medium. The pains
were never nothing I couldnt handle so I
thought I was ok, I thought when people
miscarryed they had a horrifying pain
where they couldnt walk or sit or
anything. I never experienced this kind
of pain. It was always tolerable.
So saturday passed and the pain was really
less, and my bleeding continued as usual.
The blood had a horrible smell, not like
peroid blood, and was bright red, and when
it hit the water it kind of stringed and
"danced" in the water, forming strands, it
kinds looked like "dna." ok, so saturday
went by smoothly with very light pain
compared to other days, and I went to
bed.
This morning, which is sunday, when I
awoke, I checked my pad. And realized I
lost the baby. I am going to get graphic
to explain this section, because I want
you to know that I never knew what to
expect. So when you have mucusy blood
dont be so worried, thats not the baby,
its still in you, but when you lose the
baby, its the consistency of a boiled egg,
the size and the shape is, but its bloody.
Its firm to the touch.
I am really sorry for everyone who has to
go through this, and writing this is a
biut theraputic for me as I am still
trying to pass the shock that I lost my
baby this morning. But when I checked
this site, I saw that no one came back to
write their experience and I wanted to, no
matter what my outcoome was.
I am soooo very sorry of your loss, I
realize that it is a difficult thing to go
through. The main thing is, is that it
is not your fault, please do not blame
yourself, I know, I have gone through this
mysellf. This takes time and if you feel
you need help, it is out there for you.
If ever in any doubt check it out. The
Dr. Just told me when it happened to go
home, that I was miscarrying and to make
an appt. Afterwards to see if I neede a
d&c.

Im 12 weeks and have been spotting off and
on for about 4 days now ultrasound showed
possible placenta previa but baby looked
fine anyone have advice or experince in
bleeding in first trimester? I have
slight cramping and back pain just on the
right side would like to hear back from
someone scary!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is the exact same thing i'm going
through, except I don't have any cramps.
I'm six weeks as well. I've become
paranoid. I'm always completely analyzing
the blood that comes out of me, making
sure they're clots and not something else.
I've been to the gyno 3 times this week,
i've had pap smears and ultrasounds
everytime, my cervix is still closed and
everything looks normal. We haven't
gotten a heartbeat yet and today I found
out that the sack was smaller than it was
yesterday. :( my hcg levels are all out
of whack too. The first time I got a
blood test my quant was at 8 thousand,
then yesterday [monday, exactly 5 days
later] my quants only went up to 11
thousand. I'm scared, this is my first
baby and I feel so hopeless. I'm trying
to be strong and keep my head up, asking
everyone if they knew anyone who bled like
this when they first got pregnant, lots of
people said it happened.. But of course
it doesn't ease my mind.
What should I do?

hey there I just had ivf and had 2 embryos
emplanted although I had a positive result
a week later I got my period they said my
hcg is still high and it was positive
still even though I was belleding heavy so
it could be the same as you I might have
twins although I do not feel pregnant any
more I am just going to wait and see now I
have greived for my baby and do noit want
to get my hopes up again take care

I am about 5 weeks pregnant and on friday
I started bleeding lightly, but today I am
bleeding very heavily, with alot of clots,
and really bad cramps.
What should I do? This is my first
pregnancy and I think i've been doing
everything right, i've been drinking lots
of water and eating plenty of ruits and
vegatables, what do you think is
happening? Do you think I am going to
have a miscarriage or that I already have?

Anybody I need help! And if I did

I am 3 weeks late for my period. I have
been experiencing bloating, cramping,
nausea at all times of the day, not to
mention my sense of smell has been
unbelievable lately!!! I am pretty sure I
am pregnant and am gonna buy a test this
thursday. However 3 days ago I noticed
a small trace of blood, dark blood, in a
discharge. It only happened once, and I
still haven't got my period. Has this
happened to anyone else???

honestly i've miscarried
before and I had cramps and bled also it
was dark with clots if it is still in the
first trimester the baby will not come out
whole it will be in clots im sorry to be
so blunt go to the hospital asap also its
not that you did anything wrong so dont
blame it on your self sometimes these
things just happen ...Everything happens
for a reason

20 days. No cramping, but heavy clotting
and going through 2 pads a day.I thought
for sure it was a miscarriage until I
looked into it. It's way more common than
most would think. Unfortunately, the one
thing that has remained certain is that
there's nothing you can do about it.

Hey everyone! About three weeks ago I
wrote about my situation- bleeding,
clotting with no cramping(i was hoping for
the best). Well, it turned out to be the
worst case scenario. Turns out that I had
an ectopic pregnancy(when the egg never
makes it and is stuck inside your falopian
tube) and was hemerrging as the fertilized
egg was growing in my falopian tube.
After my eight week ultra sound I went
into emergency surgery and the egg along
with my filopian tube was removed. The
egg had done so much damage that I had no
chose but removal. Because I waited so
long my abdomin and pancreaus was filled
with blood as well.
The point is, don't wait so long to
get to the doctors office. I read
everyones thoughts on the website and it
gave me false hope. That hope cost me a
filopian tube. Everyone told me not to
worry when in fact I should have been
worried. The doctors rushed me into
surgery that night because if it had
ruptured I would only have 30 minutes to
live because of the hemerging. I didn't
even know what an ectopic was and that
almost killed me. Ladies, my case might
not be the same as yours, but it just
might be. Please remember, bleeding while
pregnant is not normal! Listen to your
own body, not someone elses opinion!

Hi everyone, I last seen my adminstration
on the early part of dec and my cycle is
every 35 days. At this time I am
suspected of been pregnant because I have
missed my cycle. I starting spotting
today it is a little pinkish on the toilet
tissue, but it is not enough for a pad.
It stop while I was at work today and then
after a bath a little bite was on the
tissue. I am suppose to go friday for a
confirmed blood test. I pray I am
because I really want a child and hope all
is well. So of anyone can help I need
some advice.....

I found out saturday I am 5 weeks
pregnant. But tuesday I started bleeding
very lightly and just this morning it
turned into heavy clotty bleeding as well
as very mild cramps. I have the tender
breasts, a huge appetite and very tired
all the time. Could I be misscarrying? I
wont be able to find out til friday
because the doctor has to measure my hcg
level. Please let me know if anyone or

my thoughts are so with you I am in
exactly the same boat as you at the moment
am 6 weeks myself and am waiting to go for
my scan in 2 days.Have been to a&e and
there was nothing they could do with me
being so early just a waiting game now.
I will hope and pray with you that both
our little ones are going to be alright.

I, too have been having cramps off and on
:( , but no blood, until 2day but it was
lite pink though, kinda how it jus pops up
the day b4 ur period comes, and a bit of
mucus, but thats an always thing b4 my
period comes. Could this still be normal?
Do u think a woman can miscarry from
riding a rollercoaster and be 4wks or jus
under 4wks pregnant :cry: ? Just wanted 2
know an opinion. Last night me and my
boyfriend went to ride one and when we
went 2 ride it again we saw a sign about
if ur preg, have heart probs, etc. Not to
ride it. So now he thinks it maybe the
ride's fault. :roll: but im just looking
for an opinion :?:

alittle brownish blood on the tissue and a
little clot in the toilet that same day I
went to the bathroom again and the same
thing but it was only alittle bit the day
after, the bleading and clotting stopped
did I have a miscarriage ?
