Bleeding While Pregnant

I go month to month to see if my girlfriend could be pregnant, she has been on her period every month and hasn't missed one yet, she took the morning after pill and that caused bleeding for two weeks straight almost. The first was assumed to be caused by the pill, the second started on her normal time with just a few days in between. I was wondering is their still a chance she could be pregnant?

Hey... I am about 7.5 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I had experienced some brown spotting and I woke up in the middle of the night to find some red blood mixed with a sort of mucusy substance... I was cramping a little bit but nothing I coudlnt' handle...I was so scared I went to the er right away. They did all sorts of tests and gave me an internal exam. Well first of all the results of the blood tests were.... Hcg level is only 1093!!!! They told me that is too low and maybe my conception date was miscalculated.. I am almost positive that I know when I concieved... And I also found out that I am o negative... So they gave me a shot that is supposedly supposed to help that... Do u think that maybe that was the problem and the shot can fix it? Or is it too late if that is indeed why I am bleeding? I read a comment about someone who is 5 weeks preg. And has an hcg level of like 7000... Is my pregnancy doomed?

Okay...I have been nauseated (dry heaving) just about everyday, severe bloating, fatigue, diarrhea, etc. All symptoms of pregnancy. At this point I suspected pregnancy (this is child number 3). Almost six weeks later, today, I am experiencing light bleeding with minor abdominal cramping. I had tried those home "early pregnancy tests", but they yielded negative results. The doctor on call said that I was most likely not pregnant and could not explain the nasuea. Having had two children before, this feels like a pregnancy. But is this bleeding normal??? I never bled like this before with my other two. In fact, I never bled with them. I am really scared and will talk to my ob tomorrow. Someone help!!!

I am now 7 weeks pregnant and for the last week have been spotting what was a brown discharge and for the last 2-3 days has turned into a reddish discharge with some clotting. Today I am experiencing some slight cramping in my lower back. My hcg levels are low, could this be a miscarriage?

Hello, I am no doctor, but I had a simular experience, and sad to say I miscarried. But that doesnt mean it will happen to you, sometimes women do still have periods while they are pregnant, but the clots is what I would be worried about. After my miscarrage I got pregnant about a month later. So if everything doesnt work out, theres a good chance its a one time thing. Hope everything goes well with you

My boyfriend and I broke up about a week ago with no sign of getting back together, needless to say I have been extremely stressed out and telling my parents was no easy feat. But in the mist of all this drama I find that my cramping hurts as bad as when I am on my period, and I have spotted light bleeding, I go in tomorrow not knowing what to expect, but god help me, I will love this child and I just hope everything will go according to procedure. Does anyone if anything like this has happened and if it is going to be alright, please let me know.

I am ment to be 13 weeks pregnant but there is one problem ...... I only look 6 I spoke to the hospital and they said my doctors might have got my dates rong but about but saturday morning I started spotting and I went to the hospital they said it could be a threatend miscarrige and to come back if it gets any heavier l8tr on that night the bleeding got worse and me and my boyfriend were back in an ambulance and back up 2 the hospital they did an internal and I was discharged since then there has been clotting but no crampes or pains its just like a lighter period I went for an internal scan on monday and they said that the baby is still there and it has grown 1mm but it had been 1 week and 4 days since my other scan and the baby measured 4mm 2 weeks b4 that scan the you couldnt see the baby at all which ment in 2 weeks it had only grown 4mm instead of a possible 28mm growth we are so confused am I going to loose my baby please help me im still bleeding but still with no pains and the midwife said it looks like an implantational bleed but can it be heavy? Please help me im so afraid im only 15 and this is my first pregnancy help xxxxxxx

ok i had to have my tonsils out on the 6th july so had to go for a consultation on the 25th june 2007 doc took notes and test and done a preg test which came out positive i didnt belive it so she done another one she said i was about 6 weeks so yeah im pregnant so couldnt go thru with the tonsilectomy,, anyway on the 28th i woke up to bleeding tiny tiny tiny little blood clots but no cramping?? i went to the hospital for an ultrasound and they saw nothing on the screen meaning no baby in ovaries or in womb which hasnow caca the life outta me, when i asked what that meant even tho ive done 5 tests that are positive the hosp said they didnt know if im preg or not or if ive had a miscarriage so i have to wait 3 weeks to go back for another ultrasound?? i really want to wish i havent lost the baby as im looking forward to being a mum again but cant get the doubts and scares outta my head please someone help?? has anyone had heavy bleeding and clotting but nothing showing up on scan??but still come out to a healthy baby??

Hi, My name is Ruby, I am 17 years ols and am pregnant with my first child! I am 31 weeks today! I read your blog..and was wondering if you could tell me more maybe about the hcg I think it was...You see it's 230am and about 20 minutes ago I went to the bathroom and had light bleeding. I just checked again and it stopped..but still I am young..very scared bout this whole pregnancy already and to bleed really upets me. Im not in any pain..plus my bf and I had sex..is that possibly the reason? I know your not a doctor but I am just really freaked out and need some sort of advice, I dont know exactly how this site works..I dont kno where my mail will go..but thank you soo much

So I started birth control a week before my wedding (never had sex before the honeymoon) then stopped taking the birthcontrol about 3 days later because i was sick of the headaches and stomach cramping it gave me also I had this odd feeling i was pregnant, i have breast tenderness, increased urination, nausea after eating and I do notice that i'm tired more often now however within 24 hours of being off the pill i got heavy heavy bleeding and severe cramping I have no idea what's going on because I wouldn't normally get my period for another 2 weeks at least. I barely slept at all last night and my husband slept on the couch because any movement from him hurt my stomach badly, should I still take a pregnancy test, could this just be my period, or could it be an ectopic pregnancy.

I have the exact same thing, light bleeding started wed, and by friday it way to heavy to be normal, no cramps or anything yet, by friday night there was crampiing and the bleeding has gotten worse... the Doctors think I'm going to miscarry, but at 8 weeks they can't even find a heart beat or anything, I'm so scared and don't know what to do... I spend all of Thursday and Friday in the hospital... and I don't know if I should go back or not

my very first child was a threatened miscarriage. which means that conditions could worsen or could get better. i was on bed rest for almost 2 months and at the end of my 9 months my daughter was 2 wks late and had to be removed by c-section. but despite the trials and worrys she was and is the most perfect child. so sadly it is much a terrified waiting game. im sorry i couldnt be more help but i wanted to answer your question that yes a threatened miscarriage can very much survive:)
