All that matters is that you stopped! I'm
proud of you!
is your ultrasounds coming back in good
condition? If so, you have nothing to
worry about.

we'll last time I had an ultrasound, she
told me I had a 77.7 suger level ;\ so she
told me to lessen on my sweets and drink a
lot of water! But other than that she
said I was having a normal baby so far :]

They tell you to decrease your salt intake
because it causes you to retain water,
which causes swelling/bloating. (i can
explain that more but its boring!) and
technically caffiene is a drug (you get
addicted) and it causes the baby to get
addicted! So...If you have to drink
coke...Drink diet caffeine free!

will do! :] but I also heard that too
much caffeine can cause abnormalities and
small in sized babies? But I always
thought that was just for coffee, since it
contains soo much more caffeine than coke.

no not diet! It contains aspartame (equal
or nutrasweet) and you aren't supposed to
have that either!! The only soda i've
found that I can drink is diet rite. It
is made with sucralose (splenda) and has
no caffeine. Salt and caffeine can also
both make you more apt to becoming
dehydrated, which is especially important
to consider if you are having morning
sickness and can't keep food down.

Yeah, I guess you are right erin. But if
you have to drink something...Thats what I
meant! But anyways...I'm not pregnant and
I am absolutely addicted to diet coke! My
friend lauren and I heard that if you
would quit drinking diet drinks for 6-8
weeks then you would lose 10-15 lbs. Ummm
it didnt work! I suffered through those 6
weeks and have nothing to show for it!
So...It doesnt work..Dont try it!
Lauren

Coke is very dehydrating because of the
caffiene and wil make you and baby
jittery.Salt will cause water retention as
stated before.Coke and other soft drinks
are just hell on your teeth and eating
citrus friuts in large quantities is also
damaging to tooth enamel.Like some of the
others have said, skip the salt and stick
with water.Good luck!Patty
