An Update On My Situation

As a few of you know, I went to the doctor
the other week because I had been feeling
really tired and weak all the time and I
had been sick for 2 months straight.
Well, after doing a bunch of tests at the
doctor's office and feeling my guts and
all my organs, the doctor sent me to the
hospital because he felt that my liver was
enlarged. He said that what was making
me feel sick and weak all the time could
be the fact that since my liver is
enlarged, it isn't functioning property
and isn't cleaning my blood like it's
supposed to, so it's pumping the same
dirty blood back to my heart over and over
which is continually making me sicker and
weaker. Well, you'd think they'd hurry
up and do something about a situation like
that, but it's been over a week since I
was at the hospital for the tests that
they did, and they still haven't called
with the results and they said that as
soon as they had them, they'd call. So
while i'm laying around getting sicker,
they're taking their dandy ol' time
figuring out how to fix what's wrong.
I'm also supposed to start back on zoloft
whenever the results come back. So, i'm
hoping that within the next couple days I
hear something. The hospital here sucks.
I'm serious....They let people die at
that hospital. I hate it there. They're
gonna get sued one day because of a
situation like this. They'll be taking
their dandy ol' time getting the results
back to the doctor and the person will die
before the results get back and then their
family will sue the hospital for taking so
d@mn long. I better get to bed now it's
starting to get late. I just thought i'd

Thank you. I am calling them tomorrow.
Last time I tried to call they said they
didn't know anything yet, which is stupid.
They should be getting results the day
after they run the tests on people. It's
insane. You'd think they'd want to help
people as fast as they could.

they are "taking their time"...

Hey! I'm sorry you are feeling so crappy
and not getting the answers you need! My
advice is to be persistent with them!
Call until they get sick of hearing from
you! This is no excuse for them, but I do
know that the hospitals i've done
rotations in...Things just go slow!
Things fall between the cracks and take
awhile, thats why our healthcare system is
in such bad shape! Anyways...Call them
'til they are sick of hearing from you!
You have a right to know whats going on
with your body! Tell them you will report
them...Whatever it takes! Hope you start
feeling better soon! Take care!

diff hospital. You need to be with
ethan, so you can't let the dr's do this
to you. Demand that you get care! My

Screw that hospital, even if they call
with the results soon, I wouldn't want
those kind of people touching or treating
me with any of there caca. They don't
seem to take health very seriously, and
that wouldn't make me want to go back
there. I would recommend going to a
different doctor asap...And second
opinions are always great! So, please go
to a different doctor for yourself...And
for everyone that loves you! *hugs* :d

I'd say call back and you should tell them
off speak to a higher authority or
something. They should not be doing that
nor letting people die. I wonder why no
one has done anything. That is so messed
up. Make sure you mention the doctor that
seen you or whatever.
If not it's best to go to a different
hospital..... Please get yourself checked
go somewhere else if you have too. A
better hospital.

Sweety call back keep insisting. You
have a little boy that you have to be
around for. If things get too bad you
may need a liver transplant, which in that
case your name would have to be on a
waiting list. I agree with jen go to a
different hospita. Your health is very
important.

Ok, get this...I called back and a nurse
answered and I asked if they had the
results back from my tests yet and she
said yeah they were back, but the doctor
that wanted to do the evaluation was on a
vacation, white water rafting and she
isn't allowed to discuss things like that
with patients. So now I have to wait
until the doctor gets back from his
vacation. So stupid.

Oh, no! They did the same thing to my
grandmother. She was told to go get a
scan to see if her cancer had spread, and
called back the next day and was told the
doc went on vacation. How can they do
that to someone!?!

im sorry all this sh8t is happening to
you...
We go thru some of the same things..You
were due on the 7 of feb..So was i..You
had ethan on the 16 I had him ont he
17...We both have guy trouble....*sighs*
huggles.....But i'm sorry to hear about
