Ap Classes?
Posted: 09-15-04 20:30pm

Was anyone ever in ap classes? Im going to go into ap history next year, hopefully and the others senior year. I think everyone knows what they are but if not, its a college lever course that you take in hs and you get college credits for it, but only if you get a 3, 4, or 5 on the final exam.

So anyway, how hard are they, really?

It depends on the teacher....They can be easy as crap or hard as hell. It all just depends on your teacher.

But I wouldnt suggest being absent...

Lol - teachers tend to try and scare you with that stuff. But as long as you study and your not absent you'll be fine. Its just any other class, your just taking it for college credits. You may have to write a lot of papers and stuff though...

Deffinately worth it - I dont remember what the equivalent of a sophomore is but had I contiued to go to my old school I would have graduated with 16 hours...Which is only a few hours under being a sophomore in college. So yeah, deffinately worth it.

Yeah I think every class I took in high school besides band and .P.E counted as .A.P!! I only bothered taking the math and english .A.P tests though, but I got 7 hours credit toward my freshman year before I even started!

I was in the international baccalaureate program at my high school. If your history class is anything like mine be prepared to do lots and lots of reading.
