...never Thought I'd Post Here...

Let me give you a little background about
me. i've been an avid
lurker on this forum for about six months
now and i've never really felt the need to
post anything. I first found the forum
after seeing a reference to it on another
site, criticizing teen pregnancy and the
handling of the topic on these boards.
(
before those talons come out... )
so I started browsing around this forum
and reading all of the older posts and
newer posts and I just kept coming
back...And coming back. And finally, I
realized that I actually wondered "has so
and so had her baby yet?", "will so and so
be having a boy or a girl?", etc.
So here I am! I am not pregnant, nor am
I a teenager (though i'm not far
removed!). I am 21, live in south
florida and have been married for 2.5 yrs.
I have persistant baby fever at times,
but in no way am I ttc.
Anyway, I just finally figured that since
I spent so much time on here, I might as
well say hi.
...So, "hi".

Hey, jennifer. My name is karin. No
kids, no pregnancy. my husband is
lyndon. We live in delray beach, florida
- hate it here!! (well, I do. He likes
it.) I am a legal assistant waiting to go
back to college (crossing my fingers for
an acceptance letter!) and he owns a mass
mail business.
Hey, random sidenote: what's with the
unexplainable capital and lowercase letter
that come up, even if it's not what i've
typed?

The administrator of the forum changed the
code so that it automatically changes your
post to adhere to strict capitalization
rules. Basically, the first letter after
any punctuation that ends a sentence is
caps. You can get around it by doing
this:
.L.O.O.K .A.T .M.E! A.L.L .C.A.P.S!!
Btw, i'm erin. I'm 22 and also married.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my first child,
a little girl!

Interesting. And all along I just
thought that there was no respect for
proper punctuation on these boards!
jennifer and erin - being insurance girls
(erin, you were, right?), are either of
you familiar with the aicpcu/iia? I
used to work there and took some classes
while I was an employee.
Chanda - nice to "meet you. May I ask -
how did you end up here as a non-pregnant,
non-ttc?

preggy at the time and I came for support.
I found out I wasn't preggy and I just...
Loved the forum so I decided to stay. I
have a lot of friends with kids. All my
friends 16-25 have kids and so....... I
know a lot about kids. I have 2 younger
siblings and a niece I am raising so I
felt that I could help bring insight to
the forum. I had one other preggy scare
since I joined but it was begative and

Chanda - I can definitely understand
coming back again and again...That's what
happened to me.
Liz - hi. Would you answer the same
questions I asked chanda? What brought
you here? Research for your future as a
teacher?
Erin - no, it's a company that provides
insurance education and certifications.
The .I.R.C (insurance research council)
also operated out of the same location.
Basically, they provide education and
certifications (most prominently, the
.C.P.C.U - .Chartered .Property .Casualty
.Underwriter) to agents, auditors,
adjusters, underwriters, etc.

Lol...Oh. I'm just always curious when I
meet people who are in insurance because I
loved working up there. I briefly
considered going into insurance when we
moved down to florida but decided to go in
a different direction, instead.

Well its about time you posted!!! My name
is kristin, I am a 17 year old from
wisconsin rapids, wisconsin. I got
pregnant at 16 and unfortunately had a
miscarriage awhile back. I know what its
like having the baby fever...Seeing
mothers with their babies, pictures, and
goin past the baby section saying to my
boyfriend..."kristin wants a baby"...Even
though I need with going to college and
working...With not being married it
wouldnt be the right thing right now in
time. I know whats its like though..So
you can definitly talk to me all about the
baby fever you are having. Lol
