New here and a little back ground info on me. I am a 43 male, 2 kids 12 year and new born. I also lost a child in 2001 to heart disease. (5 month old) I work a 12 hr shift of t, f, s and what, s up at 5am home at 8 pm. I have been feeling blue, kind of disinterested in life, sex, video games, and even sporting events, even my marriage. But not all the time. I am not suicidal, just blue! I went out on my wife. (ya I know, I suck!) but I was not thinking about the marriage just being happy again even it was not the best way. I have to say my wife is not the best when it comes to support. I also can tell u the last time I was happy was in 2000. Do I miss that! I asked or told my doctor about me issue. She suggested 10 mg of lexapro. Now I have read some horror stories and I know everyone is different. Please help me out here should I take the lexapro or not? I also take care of me new born on the days I am off. Email me if u need @ defmet0@ya hoo.Com maybe some good convention will snap me out of it.
