Q: Has This Happened to Anyone Else???

I was just wondering if anyone experienced this before.

The last time I had my period was august 9. Before then they were usually regular (between 29 and 31 days). I thought I was about to get my period this month on the 8th or 9th also because I was having slight cramps I usually get a few days before my period starts. The cramps continued for a few more days and then stopped and my period never showed up. I am now about 9 days late. I also went to a clinic and they did a urine preg test when I was a week late. It came back negative. Should I test again later?? Or go in for a blood test?

Does anyone have any ideas about my situation???
Or are there any people in the same boat as me????

I've had this happen.It was stress related.It took several months to straighten out.I would repeat the test in 2 weeks if you do not get your period.And be religious about birth control until you know for sure.If you are not pregnant,make sure you always use an effective birth control method.You did not mention any bc use,so ,i am assuming that you are not currently using one??!!If you are pregnant,get prenatal care asap,if you plan to continue the pregnancy.If you choose not to carry to full term,the sooner,the better.Good luck to you.Patty

Thanks for your reply patty, I really appreciate your help. But I have a real good feeling it has nothing to do with stress.

Ok, I had this happen to me and my sister. Me myself I was stressed out but also I was pregnant. I took about 7 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative, I gave it another week and went to the health department and the test came back positive. I am now 18 wks. For the first couple months I would get what felt tlike period cramps, my doctor said they were normal. Don't get your hopes up but in a week or so go take another test....
