Hey ladies...I was curious as to weither or not any of you have been given a wrong due date? Or your baby's measurement's were off?? My problem is....I know for a fact without a doubt on my dates!!! Me and my partner were together everyday the 4th-9th of may (without protection and he ejaculated in me several times) . What's getting me confused is the fact that my due date seems off by a week..Give or take a few day's. According to the due date if I count back that put's my conception date around the 18th!!!! I have expressed my concern to the doctor and he has said that the measurement's of the baby are what they go by now instead of my period?? He also said I would have had to concieved around the 18th, but the last time we slept together was the 9th?? I am getting so angry with him because he dosen't seem to believe me when I tell him that I know my dates!!! I asked him if the baby couldn't just be a little smaller for week's pregnant and he said all babys grow the same in the first tri-mester, has anyone else had problems with due date or ultrasound being off by a week or so?? Please any advice would be helpful. Thanks.....Also if there are any woman who are due around the first of february and know your dates that would help also!!

Hey,

off by 9 days is alot. I was going to say the sperm can live in you for up to 5 days but i've never heard 9. My first little girl was due febuary 2nd and my date of conception was the 10th of may. If you know for a fact that you didn't have sex after the 9th then obviously any test or what the dr says isn't going to sound right to you. If you get another ultrasound see what they say I wouldn't be worried. Trying to fit it all together to have it make sense maybe. The Dr. Is right they do go by the ultrasound and not the first day of your last period. Or else my first little girl would have been due on the 31st of january instead it was the 2nd of febuary. If I were you i'd just be happy I was pregnant and the baby is healthy. Sorry I couldn't help out too much. Pregnancy is still a mystery no doctor can tell you exactly what causes what and why. I'm sure there are theories out there but none of them set in stone.

Good luck :d

Is it possible for ultrasounds to be off by a whole week or more? I am just concerned because I am 4 months pregnant and according to my ultrasound I conceived on june 26th, but on the 18th me and my boyfriend were split and I had sex with another guy so i'm scared my ultrasound could have been off by 8 days is that possible? I dont know what I would do if the baby isn't my boyfriends!
