Getting Rid of My Love Handles And Saddle Bags...augh! Posted: 09-17-04 20:43pm
I dont know if anyone had post a message
like this but I need some help with
this.
I cant seem to get rid of my love handles
and saddle bags. I dont want my inner
thighs to touch and the jeans that I wear
my handles hang out alittle bit. I know I
am young and I shouldnt worry about it but
I do.
I have tried to exercise for like 2 weeks
then I quit doing it, I dont know why. I
do eat alot better than I used to. If you
have any type of advise please inform me
cuz I would love to get into my jeans and
noe have fat hang over or when I stand
straight I dont want my inner thighs to
touch.

Try making small changes in your daily
routine to make the transition to a
healthier lifestyle which should in time
help with the love handles
throwing yourself into a high level
exercise program is bound to put you off,
so try easing into it more gently, and
maybe finding a type of exercise or a
sport that you enjoy, rather than seeing
it as a chore.
If you catch the bus to school/work, try
getting off a couple of stops earlier and
walking the rest of the way. Take the
stairs instead of the elevator, and maybe
take up that sport you have always wanted
to try. Offer to walk the neighbours dog
perhaps? Try to make exercise fun and you
will look forward to it!
Rather than eating three big meals a day,
try having 6 smaller meals so that you are
grazing all day and never feel hungry
which will stop you from binging. Try
having a huge glass of water every time
you feel hungry as thirst is often
confused with hunger. I also try to have
a big glass of water before I eat so I
feel more full and don't tend to eat as
much.
Stick with it, and don't expect to see
dramatic results straight away. You will
notice an increase in your energy levels
over time, an increase in your general
wellbeing, and a decrease in the size of
your love handles!

Unfoutunately you cant spot reduce.. So
you need to loose body fat, and do lots of
cardio

I know a reallly good exercise for that is
leg lifts where you lie on the floor and
lift your unbent legs. It's great for
toning the area from the butt to lower
abs.

This is a very simple and effective work
out that helps your inner thighs.
Ok..
-lie flat on your back with your legs
extended to the ceiling.
-bring your heels together so that your
toes are pointed out to the sides.
-now bend your knees until your legs form
a diamond shape, and pull your heels down
toward your butt.
Then slowly sraighten you rlegs again.
Aim for 2-3 sets of 10-20 reps, you will
start to see results in about a month.
And the posts before are right, you can't
spot reduce but keep at this work out and
with doing cardio and lowering your daily
fat intake!
