Attitudes While On Birth Control

When I was on depo (about 4 motnhs ago) it made me so cycnical about everything. I'm guessing it was b/c I hate 5 week long periods Sad but I would cry a lot and I would find all the little things in my friends and esp. My boyfriend that annoyed me. I was so upset at the time I guess I wanted them to be upset too. Now i'm on the pill and I don't cry a lot anymore yet I still remembered all the things that annoy me in my friends. And I feel horrible because when my boyfriends annoys me and it's not to big of a deal I have to make it a big deal. I know i'm ruining the moments we ave yet I just can't stop myself from ruining them. I'm going to continue to try to stop myself (or else I fear that my boyfriend will just leave me or feel like i'm this overly angry wife he unwillingly married) but can the hormones really affect your emotion and attitudes that much?

Hormones are wicked powerful things!!They can make you a weepy, sobbing mess-or a raging b****.I stopped the pill after 12years and would cry at the drop of a hat!!This lasted a few months and the things have seemed to have leveled off.Are you having feelings of resentment towards your honey??Sometimes, that can magnify if you are hormonally challenged.Talk to your doc about this.I've never been on depo, but have heard a lot about the emotional thing while on it.Best to you.Patty
