To remind everyone again: I have colon
cancer; the docs thought they got it all
in surgery oct 2003. Well, I went
through radiation and chemotherapy. But,
in may of 2004, I found out my cancer was
back and there was no surgery to fix it.
So, I started on a new chemo and went on
with my life thinking I had a few more
years left to enjoy my life.
(step into time machine. Land on
september 16th.)
i am having extreme pain in my bladder and
lower back, so I go to the doc. He
admits me to the hospital immediately to
run some tests. Well, the docs found
fistula (a hole in intestines, bladder,
etc that allows urine or stool to come out
of the wrong "hole") sorry if this is
tmi. So, I go to surgery to have a
colostomy, which is when you poop from
your abdomen into a bag. Sounds gross, I
know. Well, in surgery, it was
discovered that my cancer had just spread
to far. I still have the poop bag, but I
actually poop through my pee hole. Talk
about pain!!
Ok, to sum up this gross post, I am going
home fro the hospital after 3 weeks and
hospice will come and help me. So, my
time here on earth is very short now.
But if anyone would my #, I will be at my
parents' house for a couple of weeks, then
I get to move into our house in the
country!! I cannot wait. Pm me for the
#, but I will be at the hospital til
tomorrow. I gave chanda that #
thank you girls for all the advice and
friendship. I will get someone to make
the post when I am gone.

belive this, I know we havent particurly
talked, but I have known of your troubles
and even though im thousands of miles
away, im sending my love and thoughts of

I have to ask this question.. Why do such
horrible things happen to such wonderful
people..I am sorry you have to go through
such pain...Obviously you are a strong
strong women...You are going to be very
missed here at the forums. I didnt know
you very well...But what I did know..You
seemed to touch lives all around. You are
in my prayers and it is known that
miracles can happen....*hugs*

dont know what to say. But I hope you
enjoy every day as much as you possibly
can. Did the docs give you an estimate?
Oh man.....I'm sorry i'm a little on the
nervous side.....Just the thought of death
makes my stomach churn.....I am really
sorry hun, you, of all people, dont
deserve this. I know we werent really
particularly close either, but I still
love you and think you are too wonderful
for words! You will be in my thoughts and
I will hope for a miracle!
