No, for an insurance issue, I doubt it.
Did you get it towed?

I think every state has a law about that
but you would need to see what your sate
has. As for the insurence I would just
tell him if they say anything that he has
it right now and is in the process of
getting new. Tell him to keep his old
card for insurence if it does not showed
that it has expered, then he can show that
untill he gets his new one.

If he just bought the car, most states
give you 10-30 days to get insurance. If
its been longer, he could get a no
insurance ticket, but that's not a major
violation.

Oh wow, that is so horrible jordan! I
hope that you can figure out something
with it. Not too sure about the laws in
your state.

Lemon laws only cover new cars, I know it
sux I bought a bummed trailblazer and took
it back the next day, becuz that car had
been totalled twice and he didnt tell me,
so chris should try to take it back.

Ya know if they refuse, you should sit by
the side of the road on the little strip
that is gov't property and hold up a sign
that says "they sold me a dead car" or
something. They can't make you leave,
because it isn't their property, and
they'll probably lose business, so they
might change they're minds and take it
back just to get rid of you!

Sorry to hear about the car hun I had the same
experience. Unfortunatly you can't turn
it in in accordance to the lemon law,
because they only apply to new cars. As
far as the insurance, you can get a fine,
but that's about it. Hope everything
gets better!

Well, it depends on where he bought it
from, and if he can prove that the person
that sold it to him knew about the problem
before they sold him the car. How much
did he pay for the car? He can go to
civil court and get up to $5000. Well
that is if he can prove that the person
that sold him the car did so willingly
without disclosing the problem. And if
they made him any kind of guarantee, it
would be even better.
