Posted: 09-20-04 19:19pm

I had unprotected sex with an out call girl (prostitute) about 7 1/2 weeks ago. About 4 weeks later a got a rash on my chest little pimple like rash. Then I got a few on my arms then on my back and I still have the rash. I just got tested and the results wont be back for ten day. My doctor said it looks like folicutis, which from what ive read is an early symptom. I also have neck, shoulder, and back pain along with irritated throat. I have been extremely stressed.I know you cant diaginos by symptoms im just looking for somene who can share some infromation with me. Thank you very much.

Folliculitis is not a early symptom of hiv any one can get folliculitis its really sweat pimples/heat rash the hiv related one happens later in the age stage when ur tcells drop below 200 and ur body cant fight bacterial infections

With HIV, one may develop a rash and one may not. There are many reasons for a rash. A harsh laundry soap, a summer rash, acne, eczema, it could be anything. If you are worried that it might be HIV, please get tested. Greco you are ready for a test but Bernabucci21, you would have to wait three months from the point of infection.

Bernabucci21, consider changing behaviour so that you may not infect others if you are infected. Gotta think of everything. Protecting yourself keeps others safe and prevents you from contacting HIV or other STDs. All the best to both of you.

Always
Mson.

Bernabucci21, I had not realised that you wrote in 2004.
