Hi,

my wife is pregnant 33rd week.

She's having a sort of a pain in her abdoben. Some times about 2an inch aboove her navel. This is not continous but she gets once in a while. Some times she gets it when she turns or do a sudden movement. But sometimes she gets this involuntarily too. Is this situation normal. What should I do. Pls help me.

Is there a slight bulging in that area? It could be a possable hurnia(sry for the spelling) you should call a doctor and ask over the phone what to do or even see one. I wouldn't worry too much.

I got sharp pains like that when I was about 20 weeks or so pregnant. The dr just told me it was from the growing uterus. I wouldn't be to worried but you can always call or make an appointment with the Dr. Worry if they start to feel like menstral cramps.
