Ultrasound

I have achieved the impossible! I went to the doctor today, and just straight up told him I wanted an ultrasound and I wanted medicaid to pay for it. He said he could come up something and tomorrow i'm scheduled for one at 1:30. I'm so happy, tomorrow (later today) i'll know the sex. I absolutely love my doctor.

Anyone else have a male doctor? All my friends have female gynos and think it's weird that I see a male. I've been to him since I was like 12.

Congrats, that is great. But what is so impossible about getting medicaid to pay for your ultrasound, and getting the doc to agree to it? I get an ultrasound at every appointment.

I only got one ultrasound my entire pregnancy cuz I was "too healthy" for another one. Jerks lol but I also have a male and I would feel weird having a woman but that is just me

That is exactly why. Me and my pregnancy are extremely normal and healthy and medicaid only pays for medically necessary ultrasounds. My doctors just cool and he came up with a reason.

Thats great. 3 of mine were medially necessary, out of the 4 I got (i always say 3, because I forget about the 4th) the first I got because I was 9 weeks and 6 days and she said I only felt like I was about 6 weeks. And then the 2nd one they told me a month in advance that they were sending me so I could find out the sex and see the baby. The 3rd was because I was measuring 31 weeks when I was 35 so the measured my amniotic fluid, and the 4th was when I went a day overdue, they did it right in my docs office to measre my fluid again and take measurements of the baby to make sure everything was alright. She also seperated my membranes that day......Not fun! Lol! But yeah medicaid paid for all of it, which was great! I thought it was funny when she said she was sending me to find out the sex, and I didnt even ask. I was like yayyyyyy! Lol. I hate it when they schedule it so far in advance though, I thought the wait would kill me!!! Lol.
