Well I was just sitting here thinking
about this and I couldn't seem to stop
thinking about it.. If anyone has ever
been in my position I hope they kno how it
feels! I asked my sister to take me to
the store to get a hpt and I got two.. I
took the first which has come out positive
and I was so scared! My sister told me to
take the other, and it is negative.. Is
there such thing as a false positive??? I
dont understand why they came out
differently?? Is it too early to tell,
i'm about 9 days late..

How soon after did you take the second
one?
Your urine for testing should have been in
your bladder for at least 4 hours or it
may not contain enough pregnancy
hormone.
False positives are very uncommon, false
negatives are very common.
If you took the second one right away I
would doubt it's accuracy and also if you
had drank a large quantity it may have
been that your urine was too weak.
Either take another test but be sure to
wait long enough before peeing, or make a
doctors appt.

Thanks.. Jeeze I had no idea there could
be so many complications with taking a
pregnancy test.. No I waited about 1.5
hrs.. I want to be sure so I think even
if I take another hpt I will still be
wondering no matter the result, so I
should maybe just go to the doctors?..
Does anyone have any advice on how to tell
my child's father if I am pregnant?? I
dont think he will take it well..

I wouldnt say anything just hand him the
pregnancy test..Planned parenthood has
free pregnancy tests but blood tests are
always the best!

Go to the dollars store and buy some more.
Remember...Morning urine is the best...So
then youll know for sure.
Just go to the doctor and get it confirmed
if you are really worried about it.

i laughed when I read that. I'd do it if
I thought he gonna be an problem. It's
like "here hold this thing I just peed on
and by the way i'm pregnant..."
