I'm 22, in a serious relationship and am considering going on the pill for various reasons. Some of these reasons include: -very irregular periods (22-75 day ranges) -"abnormal hair growth" -acne -prevention of pregnancy i'm concerned though becuase I recently found out that taking the pill and developing breast cancer (especially w/ family history of cancer) is higher with pill use???!!!! I'm wondering how true this is and what my other options might be if I not only want to prevent pregnancy but "clear up" my irregular periods and other hormone related problems???
