Pregnancy After Period??? Posted: 09-27-04 14:12pm
Please help I am a little worried. I
have been on birth control pills for about
4 and a half years. My boyfriend always
uses a condom but just last week him
wanted to cum in me without a condom.??
It was saturday night and I hadnt been on
the pill that week b/c it was the week of
my period. I started a new pack on sunday
night. I was wondering if the birth
control is still in your system that week
of your period? I also read that the
"morning after pill" was just a dose of
hormones very similar to that of birth
control pills and you have to take that
pill within 48 hrs. I did take my birth
control pill within 24 hours. I guess I
just really want to know if the pill is
still working during the time of your
period and if taking the pill not long
after helped and how worried should I be.
Hope this all makes since, and sorry for
all the question.
Thanks!!!
If you had been taking the pill correctly
the month prior to you having your period
it would have done its job.And since you
started your new pack the way you always
do same day, time etc you should be fine.

You had sex while off your pill for the
week of your period which is what your
supposed to do, what is your question?, do
you think they are going to make a birth
control and tell you not to take during a
certain time knowing full well you can get
pregnant during that time, no there is a
reason you don't have to take it then
