Last month I wanted to skip my period due
to it coming at the wrong time for an
event...So I skipped my sugar pills and
kept taking my next months set of
pills...Now time has come again for my
period...I took my last "real" pill on
monday...It is now a monday a week later
and I have not started at all...I had some
light spotting when I went to the bathroom
and wiped on saturday and I have been
cramping some...Does anyone know if I
could have messed up my cycle and that is
why I haven't started?????
Thanks!

It's possible... I tried it once before
and it messed me up, although for me I got
my period during the middle of the second
pack and then again when the second pack
ended. I would give it a few extra days.
You should probably ring your doctor for
advice about this. I have done what you
did many times, and I never had any
problems, my period always turns up
exactly normally the next time. It isn't
really a period, of course, it is just
your body responding to the drop in
hormones, so maybe your hormones just
stayed high this ttime? I think if it was
me I would just start the next pack on
schedule and then see what happened in
three weeks.
