I Need Some "medical" Help! Posted: 09-27-04 18:59pm
Ok. This is what happens. My lower back
on my left side.....And down my right leg.
I get a pain that makes me double over
and I have to stand streight up or it
hurts. If I sit it hurts and if I don't
stand completely streight it hurts bad!
Anyone know what this could be? I'm
thinking some type of nerve or
something?
It does this when I do dished, mow, pick
up something that isn't even very
heavy....Like my booksake or something.
When I promiscuous person it does this.
The only time it's not bothering me is if
I lay down streight or stand up streight.

Sounds like siatica
Pretty much only time can heal it - I
thinks its kinda defined as irritation of
the siatic nerve.
Pain goes from like just above bum cheek,
to a point down the leg?
I think there are some physio exercises
that are supposed to help but I don't know
if they are much good.
Trouble with siatica is that it comes and
goes and to relieve it you need to take
the pressure off the nerve (when you stand
or lay straight).
Can't think of much more off the top of my
head about it now, will keep thinking, but
someone else might come up with
something.
Try relaxing - nice warm bath, or maybe a
massage - but not a deep sports massage
