(((((hugs))))))
i know what you're going through - we all make mistakes in the heat of the moment. Pregnancy scares are stressful, scary times when you just keep kicking yourself and going "how could I have done that??"

to your question, just because you're not getting any symptoms of pregnancy dosen't mean you aren't preg. However in the horrible catch-22, being late for a period dosen't either, especially when you're stressing so much. The only way to know for sure is to take a test. A test will be accurate on the day of your missed period, or if you're irregular and don't know when it's due - about 14-20 days after the incident.

You mentioned that you didn't want to ask your mom to buy you a test, I understand that, certainly there are very few teens who feel comfortable letting their parents know that they've been having sex (let alone unprotected sex!), but you do need to test. A good test will cost you about $15 at your local drugstore, if you don't have the cash, maybe ask your boyfriend, or look into the resources around your town. Many pregnancy crisis centres offer free testing. From what I read, planned parenthood also does, but check your local branch....I'm canadian and there isn't a pp near me so I don't know.

And finally, if you aren't pg, get on some form of birth control. Your mom dosen't have to know, again, go to pp, they will help you out with financing. And if you still can't afford b/c then at least use condoms!! They're cheap, and not only will save you from pregnancy - they'll save you from icky std's. You're right, there is such a thing as pre-cum, and not only can it get you pregnant - it can make you sick. Protect yourself.

Here's hoping for a negative hpt!
Let me know how it all turns out

Thank you so much. I always thought that when I was ready to have sex I would be in love and I would b on birth control and it would be a great place and I dont know..All that "romance crap" but it turned bad I guess..My dream of being that sweet little girl ran away from me. It was only my second time.....I feel so bad.

Thank you for all your advice and I will go to pp tomorrow after school.
I really appriciate it..I could never talk to my parents or friends about this, so im glad theres an alterative..U helped..A lot. Thank you

I'm soo glad I could help you. Did you get a result yet? And you don't have to give up your drem of only having sex in a loving environment, just don't do it again untill you're on b/c and feel secure. There is no rule that just because you have had sex that you have to do it again.
Let me know how it all works out!

Oh! I'm hoping you'll get this message in time! I agree with everything laura said but don't forget about emergency contraception! It's works until 72 hours after intercourse, so you could try to get that!!!
