I have a dull ache over the liver area. My liver function tests are normal. I do have tiny gallstones but do not have the regular sharp debilitating pain that is associated with gallstones. No sickness or nausea. If I wake in the night I am aware of the pain, and more recently it is there more of the time. Can anyone out there who has gallbladder problems tell me if what I am experiencing is early stage problems? Any information would be appreciated. I am living in london, and have seen numerous doctors but none of them really know what the pain is. I also have gilberts syndrome which is a liver condition which does not apparently have any symptoms. many thanks, belindabea

Think I have the same for 2-ish months now - a bit like I was punched and is a dull pain. Well i've had an ultrasound scan and blood tests - all ok, so my next attempt is to do a liver/gall clense before going back to the Dr. Prefer dinking oil rather than the nhs.
