I have my first ultrasound on october 8th,
by then i'll be about 10 weeks pregnant,
does anyone know what kinds of things I
should expect to see? Also my boyfriend
wont be able to be there with me, will
they print out a picture that I can bring
home to him?
You probably wont see much. The baby will
still be very small you will however see
the heartbeat. There are many websites
available that have photos of real
ultrasounds at various stages of
development. They will be able to give
you a better idea of what to expect. Good
luck. Oh and as for the picture im sure
if you ask the can give you one or two

It all depends on you! But this is what
happened with me. We had our first
ultrasound at 10 weeks too and dummy me
forgot to drink all the fluid before hand
so like I downned soooo much in like 25
minutes before it happened... Including
like alittle sugar/caffeine. Not only did
the caffenine help but the doc recommended
a smallllllllll dose of it for the
ultrasound it gets the baby moving around
a bit. Although they werent like kodak
clear we made out il stubs of arms and
legs and the heartbeat is clear on the
screen its liker a lil fuzzyness moving
around and on ours, our babys eyes are
very clear and the form of a head. Some
more clear than others. But yeah she
printed us out like 7 different pictures.
You doc should help clear things up good
luck its an amazing thing.
I have my 2nd one in 10 days to find out
the sex of the baby

Mine was pretty much like jess's only I
did drink before hand so I was busting for
a pee.
At my local hospital, you have to ask for
a piccie before hand so they can freeze
some stills and we have to pay £3.
