Monthly Periods And Seizures Posted: 10-02-04 11:38am
I was wondering if any women had more
problems with their seizures prior and/or
during your period. For years it seemed
like 75% of the times before I started my
period each month that I would start
having jerks or even maybe a seizure.
The doctors were never really concerned
about it and told me that it didn't really
have much of anything to do with it.
Just recently I read several brochures
about this and found out that when
seizures are associated with the menstrual
cycle, the condition is known as
catamenial epilepsy.

Thats true, the only way that you may be
able to fix that is get the pill. Or a
high dose deprovera I think thats how its
spelt. To stop your periods.
Then it should stop your periods and then
your seizures should lessen. If it is the
catemetal epilepsy you have.
